We can paint and or detail just about any train of any size that you may want. Ask us. Call Toll Free 1-800-228-7163. Custom Painting: Each is painted to order. Locomotives and cars are offered in schemes that aren’t normally available. We can paint any paint scheme we can get a photo of including short lines. Please call and ask. Each piece: Every piece one at a time is disassembled, individually primed, masked, painted, decals applied by hand and clear coated. All of our painters work in our own shop.
We can add lighting, detail parts like plows, horns etc. We usually furnish equipment or we can paint yours. We have been in business 29 years: Unlike some custom painters we answer the phone six days per week Mon-Sat 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time. We can answer most questions you have. Payment: When we start your Special Run order we will need full payment by Check, Money Order, American Express, Discover, Mastercard or Visa. Custom painting is difficult to warranty. If for any reason we have made an error or there is shipping damage we will make corrections to your satisfaction. Relettering: We can reletter or renumber most equipment without having to repaint. Just ask us. All Locomotives include: All numbers are in the number boards, painted trucks, fuel tanks and handrails. All parts including handrails are installed. Please be careful with painted handrails as they are made of slippery plastic. It is difficult to get paint to stick. Avoid touching them. Painting your Equipment: We charge $10.00 to remove paint per unit for N & HO. Other scales are more expensive. Paint is very difficult to remove from HO Proto 2000 units so the price may be more if we can do these. Painting Brass Trains: Every brass train is different and all are difficult to paint. Each piece is price quoted individually. Timing: It usually takes four to six weeks to begin working on each project and take two to three weeks more to complete. Shipping: Shipping and insurance is charged the actual UPS amount for each return shipment.
We are located in Nevada and recommend third day air shipping to distant locations to avoid rattling and shaking of ground transportation. Prices Subject to change: Not responsible for typing errors.
